I studied classic piano when I was young, though never played professionally. And blues piano always looked like from another planet for me :) . I was really doubting if I could ever play it and finding your chanel really made me so optimistic and positive about it. Hi Christian I could never thank you enough for this. I have bought the music and am gradually working my through it. I can’t tell you the satisfaction I am getting from learning this. I wondered if you could suggest a next piece to learn with a similar slow blues yancey feel and at a similar level of difficulty. Thanks very much.

I was given a gift, to play the paino easily by not reading, nor even try to understand music, as I suffer with Wernicke aphasia. It's a disability/gift as I cannot comprehend words in a linear fashion, so I have to close my eyes and listen to the fluidity of the sounds. I could not undertsand any of the expertest showing the piece, but you sir are using that C as you call it, which sounds natural to me and from that, I could play it in a few minutes. I always have to play it my own way, where I have to use all my fingers and quickly, as for some reason I find it hard to do it slowly. I am sure epilepsy has something to do with this gift, but only recently a therapist was showing my how to think of breathing slowly when playing such peices and sure enough I can calm my mind and play slower. I think music is a cure for many mental issues.
